Grid nomenclature

Do we have an accepted nomeclature for the locations on the grid? Several of us had ideas, but has any of those ideas been adopted? If not, I have a suggestion: There are eleven rows. I propose naming them from 1 thru 9, and then naming the last two A and B. This gives us a single symbol for each row. Then the slotted pegs, where you attach the components are numbered from left to right. Here’s what I have in mind:

	○	11	○ ○	12	○
○	21	○	22	○	23	○	24	○

○ 31 ○ 32 ○ 33 ○ 34 ○ 35 ○
41 ○ 42 ○ 43 ○ 44 ○ 45 ○ 46
○ 51 ○ 52 ○ 53 ○ 54 ○ 55 ○
61 ○ 62 ○ 63 ○ 64 ○ 65 ○ 66
○ 71 ○ 72 ○ 73 ○ 74 ○ 75 ○
81 ○ 82 ○ 83 ○ 84 ○ 85 ○ 86
○ 91 ○ 92 ○ 93 ○ 94 ○ 95 ○
A1 ○ A2 ○ A3 ○ A4 ○ A5 ○ A6
B0

I’ll use this nomenclature to analyze the manual’s solution to challenge 20. I would appreciate some feedback on the usefulness of these grid labels and also the soundness of my analysis of challenge 20. Thanks in advance for any attention to can give to my topics. --DonV
