The column is a piece that replaces the ramps (left right left right…) This piece will replace that and take up less room.
A part called a “Reflector” has been suggested before. It might be similar to what you are suggesting. Please look at an example and let us know how the “Column” might be different. How to make a Reflector out of cardboard anda cross over.
