I am working on puzzle puzzle 28, which everyone seems to say is only possible to solve reliably with the washers. However, the puzzle only works for me without the washers. Any tips?
For me, it works both with or without the washer.
I think using the washer is preferred, to increase the friction a little.
Else, there is a chance the marbles could drop fast and miss the ramps.
I don’t know what the point is, but hopefully someone can demonstrate the use of a high friction washer with a photo
I had a little trouble at first. The illustration isn’t very clear.
Make sure the washer is on the peg on the board, not on the peg on the back of the gear.
